Mina and the team arrived in California for the final leg of Run Blue. Following marathons in the Bay Area, Corcoran and Los Angeles, Mina and the team traveled to Lake Powell and Lake Mead to run and focus on issues of the Colorado River, while Mina also ran marathons in Las Vegas and Arizona. The team then traveled to Washington DC and the Catskills in New York state before the final marathons were completed in New York City.

We visited Corcoran and spoke to City officials and farmers in the area to understand water rights and infrastructure. We need to stop treating water as an infinite resource. The commodification of water is hurting farmers in the San Joaquin region in California.

On World Water Day outside of the UN in New York City, Mina completes her challenge of 200 Marathons in just one year as part of the Run Blue campaign.
