An audacious campaign to raise awareness, create urgency and drive action on water

In March 2022, water advocate and ultramarathon runner Mina Guli set out to complete 200 marathons in just one year. Her goal was to finish the final race at the first global United Nations water conference in nearly 50 years on World Water Day, 22 March 2023, in New York—which she did!

The #RunBlue campaign aimed to put water at the top of the global agenda by inspiring meaningful action on water from both companies and individuals.

In every country Mina visited, she connected with locals either struggling with water challenges or offering solutions to the water crisis. Over 40 mini-documentaries were produced to share their stories and shed light on the pressing issues they face.

THE RUN BLUE JOURNEY

“Big goals need us to do hard things – like running ridiculous numbers of marathons at the frontlines of the water crisis in some of the most extreme places on the planet, or committing to concrete action on water.”
